After falling in their conference opener to UTSA, the Bobcat volleyball team is on a three-game win streak after defeating Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3-0), Lamar (3-1) and McNeese State (3-1).
The Bobcats definitely look to be one of the best in the conference as their first four-game conference road trip begins tonight in Arlington. The Bobcats will face UTA (3-1 SLC) for the first time this year, losing to the Mavericks at Texas Hall last year in five sets. If the Bobcats win, it will be a great victory for the team and will put them one game ahead of UTA. Also facing Texas State on their road trip will be rivals SFA and Sam Houston State, and Northwestern State, a team Texas State defeated earlier in the year, 3-0, at the CenturyLink Premier.
These four games will be a true test of how the Bobcats will do the remainder of the season as the team looks to win their last Southland Conference title before moving to the WAC in 2012.
